Various activities from around our room!
Social studies task building houses with materials given and traded. Learning how different communities work with the materials they have based on the wealth of their country. Students created houses that would sustain any weather condition. Some turned out better than others and the groups discussed which country they all represented! This was an activity to start out our social studies unit, "Canada and global interactions".

Our class competition for the most marbles involves following our class created success criteria. These are the ways that all groups can win marbles to win the competition for the week.
We wrote our short and long term goals for ourselves and then asked for advice from our fellow classmates. Everyone gave comments on our soccer balls and we displayed them on our back wall.
